“1.7”, whose name derives from the medium index of refraction of the glass, wants to become a new vocabulary to take from to create external walls and internal partitions made of suggestion, transparency and characterized by unlimited compositional potential.
The first product of this new line is monoforo (hollow glass block) that was designed together with Valerio Cometti. Compared to the solid glass brick, monoforo has a lower weight and offers a play of light thanks to the central hole. Every single piece is made by hand.

[vc_row][vc_column width=’1/6′][/vc_column][vc_column width=’3/12′]”1.7″ è una nuova linea di mattone di vetro in massa ”architetturale”, che sposa l’antica sapienza dei maestri vetrai resanesi ad un disegno essenziale e contemporaneo.
“1.7”, il cui nome prende spunto dall’indice medio di rifrazione del vetro, vuole diventare nel tempo un nuovo vocabolario al quale attingere per creare contropareti esterne, partizioni interne e quinte fatte di suggestione, trasparenza e dalle potenzialità compositive illimitate.
Il primo prodotto di questa nuova linea, disegnato con Valerio Cometti, è “Monoforo”. Rispetto al mattone pieno, “Monoforo” ha un peso inferiore, una facile prensilità ed offre suggestivi giochi di luce, grazie al foro centrale. Ogni singolo pezzo è realizzato rigorosamente a mano.
